sound installations / Soundscapes

In August 2001, Interzone perceptible started to explore yet another genre: "Soundscapes". There are two different kinds:

1] Soundscape ]Musique en tapisserie[:
from the thinking of Erik Satie, wallpaper music, unobtrusive, without formal process, without beginning or end. It is percieved like a wallpaper is percieved or the furniture of a room - "musique d'ameublement" [Erik Satie].

2] formal soundscape:
two things in one: there are composed formal processes that are untypical for soundscapes. Formal soundscapes cannnot, however, be unterstood as absolute electro-acoustic music or as sound installations, that design a walk-in musical environment. The not-absolute aspects of this music can act as a mediator between between the listener and the performance that is about to start.
